MFF School Films

Prior to COVID, I had the pleasure supporting MFF School as an educator from 2015-2018. MFF School is an international narrative filmmaking workshop at the Mediterranean Film Festival School in Siroki-Brijeg, Bosnia-Herzegovina. The program brings together American high school students from Outside the Lens in San Diego, CA and youth from BiH and Croatia to crate a short film. Students worked collaboratively to pitch, shoot, edit, and screen in just 10 days. Below our the films I mentored on, however you can see the full body of work over at their YouTube page.

Personal Short Film Work

The majority of my personal filmmaking work occurred at UC San Diego as an undergraduate film student. Here are a few selections created my senior year. The first is a documentary short The Corner House (2014) about my grandmother living alone for the first time after my grandfather’s passing. The second film is an experimental narrative short Memory Fragments (2014) examining three short stories of what we remember and when we forget.
